In chapter 4 we’ll look at research from both the student and professor’s perspective. Both types are important to universities, but are quite different. Students do research in order to write papers and complete assignments, while professors take a more hands-on approach and do research to publish in a professional setting. As a student, it’s important to understand both of these types of research.
Research isn’t just something that happens in a lab. Research happens in a variety of ways in a variety of places.
